infoDev provides support to business incubator projects in several African countries, with sub-regions in South, East and West Africa, and works in close partnership with the growing African Incubator Network to which it also provides financial support. Business incubators are not yet widespread in Africa, but with a growing population of innovators and entrepreneurs, business incubation is seen as an important facilitator of small enterprise development.
